Waste management

St Albans Folk Festival is working towards zero waste. Please note that the village does not have waste management facilities.

We require that stallholders take all of their rubbish with them, including packaging and other waste products arising from normal business.

We request that all food and drink service ware provided by stallholders be biodegradable and compostable. A number of suppliers and brands claim to be biodegradable/compostable but are not. To guarantee that these products are genuine, we request two samples of all intended packaging be submitted after acceptance of the applications, including the name of the supplier or manufacturer.

Products will be checked by the waste management team to verify their authenticity before being offered a site.

Please direct any waste management questions to Tao from the Waste Recycling Team: kaboodle60@gmail.com
