News: 2019 Festival
In 2019, Anzac day falls on a Thursday and the folk festival will start on that Thursday evening and run through to Sunday afternoon. The festival is unaffected by the new regulations on festivals because we aren’t big enough!
Note that Easter Monday is the 22nd April in 2019!

Festival Description
St Albans Folk Festival, held over a weekend close to Anzac Day, is home to quality Traditional & Contemporary Folk Music, Australian Bush Music, Music Sessions, Workshops, Dances, Poetry and Children's Activities. The event showcases local and international performers, song writers and musicians. The festival runs a market of food, produce and other stalls. Patrons travel for the day or camp on the banks of the McDonald River 20 kms from Wisemans Ferry in the beautiful Hawkesbury River area, North of Sydney and West of Gosford.
The village has one of the oldest pubs in Australia, the Settlers Arms and a Historical Cemetery.
